Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Praise and thanks to Jesus Christ for blessing our 1999 June Dallas/Houston seminars. Thank you very much for your prayers for the seminars. I would like to share with you the follows: (1) We had wonderful gathering on 6/4-6/99 in Dallas with full of graces and filled with Holy Spirit. There were about 60 attendees. Many of us received bapatism in the Spirit and speaking in tongues gifts. (2) We started to arrange this Dallas seminar two years ago. After two year's communications and preparations, God chose the best time for our gathering in June 1999 to receive His best blessings and graces to us. (3) Mr. & Mrs. Hsien & Ming Tung from NJ donated the air flight tickets long time ago. This is their maybe 3rd or 4th times donations of flight tickets for my seminar trips. I sincerely thank them for their generality and kindness for Christ and for God's people and for me. May our Lord rewards them for their generality for Christ. (4) 6/11-13/99, we had again a wonderful gathering in Christ. There were about 50 attendees. God released His Holy Spirit among us. Many people were touched by God's love. Alleluya. (5) Thanks to all supportors (I sorry that I cannot list all of your names in this acknowledgement) in all aspects to make the seminars possible and well done. (6) Please see one e-mail testimony as attached. Praise and thanks to the Lord. (7) Testimonies for Christ from other seminar attendees are welcome and can be e-mailed to me. Thanks. We were very much honoured to have you to be with us last weekend; your powerful
testimony has brought us to experience the Love of our Lord jesus by the power
of the Holy Spirit. Thank you for giving us one more chance to experience the
God's presence. I was touched by the Holy Spirit, then. When you put your hands
on my head(offer oil) and said" jesus calls you by his grace", all of a sudden,
I can't control but cry deeply; Jesus said" I come to call the sinners", he
never gives up any sheep that belongs to him. I felt totally released and
peaceful after a healing service.
When I have my daily prayer at 5:30am the next morning, God has guided me to
follow the 8 priciples of happiness( Mathew 5, )-and to be the salt of land, to
be the light of the world. What a rich words of God it is! He even listens to my
prayer! I'd like to share it with you as follows:
I've invited few church members to come to my house this coming Saturday night
to have a farewell party for Fr. John Chen who is leaving for Taiwan next month;
however, the Karaoke machine was out of order. We won't have much fun without
singing songs together. I have asked some people to loan me the machine but all
the answers from friends are" No". Then, I turn into God for help. Our Lord
Jesus immediately directed me to look for one person. She is my co-woker who is
very generous in her personility; when I talked to her and she said she will be
very much pleased to let me use her machine this weekend. I just received the
gifts of Holy Spirit on Sunday; I can hardly believe to experience the God's
presence so soon.
Please send my warm regards to your wife Rosa; I've known her since I studied in
Providence College, Taichung. She probably can't recognize me now. She may
refresh her memory when she see the pictures.
May God's abundant grace be with you!
