Dear Joseph,

Thanks and Praise to God in the Highest!

For His mercy and endless love, we are so blessed to have a wonderful messenger like you. The first Cantonese Charismatic Prayer group in US will be started here at Boston, inspired by your wonderful talk in the seminar. There will be more and more touching testimonies given out to glorify God's name. I am thrilled to witness so many of His amazing deeds.

I believe that member from Cantonese group will give you more detailed updates on the progress. The first gathering is dated at 11/13/99. Please continue praying for us. Meanwhile, let me share with you some testimonies we had last weekend.

Martha, my sister, talked about two visions of childhood occurred during the lay-hand prayer. She experienced Jesus' comforting and peace with her after went through a long and dark path looking for my Mom, who was on the third-shift duty as a nurse in the hospital, at the middle of the night. She also experienced God's love and caring by picking her up and to be with my Mom riding on the motor-tricycle because my Mom couldn't take her with. She finally realizes that Jesus has been always with her through out her life. I believe that she will have a lot more to share with on her testimony article. Keep an eye on it.

Sue, the sister still in the RCIA process, talked about her numerous experiences with Jesus in her life. One special experience during the lay-hand prayer was that she felt God's love and comforting with her. When she was on her way to the operating room in the hospital lonely and scarring back couple years ago. Jesus appeared and stayed with her through out the entire process to show how much His love is.

Lucia, who has generous heart to let us use her house for the prayer group gathering, praised God for His well-arranged timing in the process of guiding her to receive the Baptism of Holy Spirit. She has no strong emotional movement and just receive the Holy Spirit rather calmly.

God has different method in showing His kindness and generosity. Only He knows which one is the proper way for His people because we are all so precious in His eyes.

Tears are in my eyes. I can't stop them whenever I think about how much Jesus loves us, and how often we were blind and deaf in receiving His message. I simply don't know how to express my appreciation to you for helping us, with your sincere personality, to open up the deepest portion of our heart to God.

May God bless you, your family and members in the ministry.

His humble servant,

/Martina

Hi Joseph,

Praise and thanks God for your seminar during the Columbus weekend. We are very grateful for you to come to talk to us. Many members of our community received the gift of tongue. Some of us who participated in the seminar got together that Saturday after and planned that each 2nd Saturday of the month, there will be a Contonese prayer meeting at the Pastoral Center in Chinatown.

We'll continue to participate at the prayer meeting at Lucia's house on every 4th Sunday of the month. We will have "two " prayer meetings every month to join the fellowship and to praise the Lord. I will urge those who received the gift of tongue to write down their experience and sent them to you. I would like to have the e-mail address of the Hong Kong Charismatic Renewal Group so we may be able to get some songs we can use in our prayer meeting. Thank you. Please give my regard to you family.

God bless Mee Chan

Subject: [From Joseph Shu] Prayer request for October 19999 Boston and Montreal seminars

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Thanks and praise to the Lord for blessing us to have the seminars in Boston on 10/9-11/99 and in Montreal on 10/14-17/99. You may visit the WebPages: http://www.m4christ.net/seminars/1099-east-coast.shtml for detailed seminars information.

Please pray for these seminars with the following prayers:

1. Dear Jesus, please lead and bless these seminars' preparations and gatherings.

2. Dear Jesus, In Your Holy Name, we pray to bind all evil and dark spirits under the coverage of Your blood, to cast them out and to command them leave and never return in our gatherings.

3. Dear Jesus, please release Your Holy Spirit to empower Your servants (Joseph Shu and other service members) as well as to fill every one who attends the seminar(s).

Your prayers are certainly needed and sincerely appreciated. Thanks.

May God bless you always.

Love in Christ,

Joseph Shu
