Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

Happy year 2000! May God bless you to have a wonderful new year.

Praise the Lord! In the past year, Holy Spirit continues witness Joseph's preaching through his seminars, and also through the seminar tapes. We have so far published 23 sets of Joseph's seminar tapes. And in November 1999, KuangChi Press (in Taiwan) has published our new book, "Whisper Our Hearts In The Holy Spirit Wind", which contains 20 witness articles from people who was deeply moved by the Spirit through these tapes. In December 1999, KuangChi Press published 4 new sets of Joseph Shu's seminar tapes.

To serve the Lord better, and to serve our brothers and sisters better with the growing needs, we decided to publish more witness articles in a more convenient format and thus our first issue of "Five Loaves And 2 Fish" booklet was published in January, 2000. In this issue, we share with you 5 articles from the "Whisper Our Hearts In The Holy Spirit Wind" book, along with witness from sister Twi-Wu Shu and an invitation from Jamie Li for your witness articles for our next book, "Confess And Forgive".

As it is written in the Gospel from Mark 6:30-44, one day, Jesus taught a great deal of audience with many things in a desert place. When the time got late, the crowd was very hungry and Jesus looked at them with compassion. He knows their/our needs. He (Jesus) asked His disciples, "How many loaves do you have?" The disciples looked around and came back. They answered the Lord, "Five, and two fishes." All they had were 5 loaves and 2 fish. But on that day, there were so many people listening to the teaching of the living Lord. There were 5000 men, not even counting the women and kids around. And all the disciples could gave out is "5 loaves and 2 fish". Our Lord took these 5 loaves and 2 fish. He looked at the heaven, blessed, and then broke and gave these loaves and fish to His disciples and the audience. All 5000 men, and the women and kids were fed full. And they even had a left over of "twelve baskets full of the fragments, and of the fishes." What a miracle! What an all- mighty and loving God do we have!

Praise the Lord! The Lord knows our needs. He knows that we need food to eat, that we need clothes to wear, that we need house to sleep, in addition to our spiritual needs for His peace, love, joy, strength,..., to live a happy and wonderful life. And He wants to feed us full, not only in food, clothes, ..., but also in spiritual food. And these could all start with the "5 Loaves And 2 Fish".

We hope the witnesses in this issue will enlighten you (our readers) and help your spiritual growth toward God. May God bless all the readers! If you like this issue, please share with your brothers and sisters, and whomever the Lord leads you to. And if you ever get touched by the Lord, please share with your friends too. It is "by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their (the disciples) testimony; and they (the disciples) loved not their lives unto the death" that Satan was defeated and God be glorified!
